1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using hearito, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

hearito is an AI-powered English pronunciation practice platform. Users listen to sentences and repeat them, receiving feedback on their pronunciation. The service includes free and paid tiers with different daily practice limits.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Free accounts have a daily practice limit (lives system).
  • Paid plans (Pro, Premium) offer increased or unlimited daily limits.
  • Payments are processed through Asaas. Prices are in BRL (Brazilian Real).
  • Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Use automated tools to interact with the service (bots, scrapers).
  • Manipulate scores, leaderboards, or gamification data.
  • Abuse the API with excessive requests or denial-of-service attempts.
  • Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

hearito, its logo, design, and code are owned by the hearito team. AI-generated practice sentences are provided for personal use only. YouTube content used in practice sessions remains the property of the original creators.

8. Limitation of Liability

hearito is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be 100% accurate.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time, and all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
